Biography

Degrees: BA. in Theology from Allentown College of St. Francis de Sales (Now DeSales University); M. Div. in Theology from DeSales School of Theology

Professional Background: Since Ordination I have served at Bishop Ireton HS, OLGC Parish (3 times), at Samarpanaram Oblate Community in Bangalore, India, at St. Ann Parish in Naples, FL and at Father Judge HS in Philadelphia. My ministries have included being a High School Teacher, Admission’s Officer, Guidance Counselor, Chaplain of the Daughters of St. Francis de Sales, Chaplain of the Knights of Columbus, Prison Chaplain, Retreat Director, Regional Treasurer, Religious Superior, Postulant Director, Novice Master, Scholastic Master, Spiritual Director & Parochial Vicar.

How I put my Faith into Action: As a priest I have the opportunity to share about Jesus with so many people especially drawing from my own experience of His presence in my life. When I have the time I enjoy volunteering in soup kitchens like Christ House with the Knights of Columbus. Although I still get nervous when giving a homily I appreciate the opportunity to encourage people to live their faith and to remind them that God loves us. Some of the most profound experiences I have had as a Catholic and as a priest have been in visiting the sick. To realize that as a humble servant of God I have been the vehicle (as priest) which God used to prepare someone to meet Him in death and by sharing of the Sacrament of the Sick I have witnessed God's healing power even to the amazement of the doctors and nurses. I try to focus my expressions of faith on the Corporal Works of Mercy and I seek out opportunities to bring Jesus to people in need (the hungry, the thirsty, the homeless, the sick, the imprisoned, clothing of those in need, and burying the dead).

Favorite Activity Outside of Work: Reading biographies and fiction

Favorite Food: Breaded Pork Chops and Mashed Potatoes

Favorite Moment you had in your Vocation: When I made my first profession of vows as an Oblate and received the Oblate Cross. That cross reminds me each day that I follow in the footsteps of good/ holy men and women who have tried to emulate St. Francis de Sales and St. Jane de Chantal for hundreds of years.

Fun Fact About You: I enjoy camping and deep sea fishing.

Favorite Quote: "The measure of love is to love without measure." St. Francis de Sales

Favorite Saint: St. Francis de Sales, St. Teresa of Kolkata, St. Francis Xavier
