Volunteer Information

We believe that God has given every person gifts for bringing about the Reign of God: our natural-born strengths and talents, the skills and abilities that we’ve developed over time, the desire to do something meaningful with our lives. As members of the Body of Christ, we need each other so that we, the Church, might be the difference in the world that God has called us to be.

It is only with our parishioners' generosity and commitment, through their time, gifts, and energy, that we are able to answer Christ's call to bring the Good News to our parish and local community. As St. Paul writes in his letter to the Corinthians, "To each individual the manifestation of the Spirit is given for some benefit" (1 Cor 12:7). We are each called to use our God-given gifts: "As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God’s varied grace" '(1 Pet 4:10).

It is our hope that every parishioner is given the opportunity to discover and develop his/her God-given gifts. To find out more information about volunteering at OLGC, please click on any of the links below.
