House League Volleyball 3rd/4th grade co-ed teams (boys & girls)
This would be a good way to get our kids interested in the sport before their opportunity to join CYO volleyball in the NVJCYO league when they are 5th graders.
There will be an assessment to determine skill level to balance teams for all interested in playing, similar to house league basketball. Practice, games, and clinics will be held at OLGC.
We will also need volunteers to coach the teams. For first-time coaches or those who want a refresher on volleyball to coach our girls/boys, we plan on having a clinic to share knowledge.
Registration open through Feb 28th
Coaches needed - please volunteer when you register your son / daughter.
Feb 28 - registration ends
Mar 4 and 6 - volleyball assessments (time TBD)
Mar 10 and 17 - volleyball clinics
Mar 15 - practice begins (5:00-6:15 / 6:15-7:30pm) (Mar 16 - 7:30-8:45pm available as well, if needed)
Apr 14 - house league games begin (6:30-8:30pm) every Saturday through June 2nd (8 games)
CYO League 5th-8th grade girls
There will be two practices a week and coaches will do their best to schedule around other sports and activities. Games will be played on Saturday afternoons or Sundays.
