What a generous community we have!
Thank you to everyone who donated and volunteered for this month's outreach project, organized by The Women of OLGC, and especially to Jane Heishman and Barb De Lisa.
Volunteers filled an amazing 1,262 Power Packs for food-insecure Fairfax County school children that were delivered to Food For Others on Monday morning. Because of your generosity, an incredible amount of milk, juice, mac n cheese, and Chef Boyardee that could not fill packs, were donated to both Food for Others and Committee for Helping Others (CHO). The organizations were thrilled to receive these donations as the need continues to be great.
