Faith in Action Post

A HUGE thank you to the OLGC community for helping out moms in need!

Diapers and much more were collected!

This past weekend’s drive was organized by Betsy Argauer and the Respect Life Committee with help from volunteers including the Confirmandi.

We collected about 12,998 diapers; 22,866 wipes; 382 pull-ups; some clothes; Desitin lotion, baby lotion, shampoo, some baby blankets; and almost $2,800 in monetary and gift card donations!

These items were delivered by volunteers for A Woman's Choice - Helps women make the right decision, by caring about the personal crisis & facing it with them, through a variety of services to include counseling, prenatal & postnatal guidance, adoption information, referrals for sonograms & medical care; job, housing & parenting assistance, maternity & baby clothes, etc; Fairfax Diapers - Goal is to ease the challenge of diaper insecurity & to raise awareness of this need in our community through the help of Food for Others; and Sanctity of Life Ministries - exists to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ and affirm life in the womb. We fulfill our mission by offering compassionate support, education and medical services to those who face challenging sexual health decisions. We want to present “Life in Christ…Life in the Womb” to the many women who come in.
