➔ Conducted online research and participated in the local seminar to discover the value of natural ecosystems and native species

➔ Developed a Take Action plan with input from:

◆ OLGC Strategic Advisor
◆ Virginia Native Plant Society, Naturalist & Educator
◆ OLGC School Science Teacher
◆ OLGC Facilities Manager

➔ Took Action:

◆ Conducted outreach for materials and volunteers
◆ Installed rustic benches, stool stumps, & mulch walkway
◆ Conducted an information session

We now have benches in the upper wooded area for all to enjoy.
