The OLGC Community will join with the Christian Community of the Vienna area marking the Week for Christian Unity with the celebration of Evening Prayer on Wednesday, January 20th at 7pm in the Church. Please use this link to signup to attend in-person. Livestream can be viewed at www.olgcva.org/Live or on YouTube.

The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity has a history of over 100 years, in which Christians around the world have taken part in an octave of prayer for visible Christian unity.

By annually observing this week, Christians move toward the fulfillment of Jesus' prayer at the Last Supper "that they all may be one."  This year’s theme is "Abide in my love...you shall bear much fruit” which its origins in the Gospel of John (cf. John 15:5-9). Jesus gave his life for all out of his love for all. To abide in his love reminds us that we live in a community celebrating our gift of unity.

Please plan on joining us either in person or via live-stream to celebrate and pray for the day “when all will be one.”
