New Organ Fund
From the earliest days of the Church, sacred music has lifted hearts to heaven and deepened the prayer of the faithful. Today, we are called to renew that tradition through the installation of a new organ, an instrument of liturgical necessity, not simply beauty.
The Cornerstone Project revealed a significant, unanticipated need: our current organ was failing, with broken pieces and outdated technology, and could no longer support the dignity and participation the liturgy deserves.
The organ holds a preeminent place in our worship, sustaining congregational singing, elevating the sacred mysteries, and reflecting the solemnity and joy of the Mass. A new organ will serve our parish for the next generation, enhancing every Mass, sacrament, and celebration. Under Director of Music Dr. Kathleen DeJardin, organ accompaniment will increase in frequency as we balance contemporary and traditional worship music.
We recognize this request comes on the heels of The Cornerstone Project, and we ask with gratitude and confidence in our parish community's understanding of this critical need.
We are grateful for an initial gift of $50,000 toward the organ and invite you to prayerfully consider helping us raise the remaining $100,000.
